About Me
MY NAME IS Dustan
Raised in Gold Hill Colorado, I have been passionate about tree work from a very young age. I worked with my father cutting firewood and completing various beetle kill projects starting around age 8! I carried my passion for the trees with me when I worked for the White River National Forest in Eagle Co. There I worked on a trail crew and also fought a few fires along the way.
I then moved back to the front range and began my journey into arboriculture working for Magnolia Tree Service under the guidance of James Melton. James inspired and trained me to become a skilled tree climber which led me to compete in tree climbing competitions in the Rocky Mountain region. I was then introduced to and hired by Fred Berkelhammer to work for Berkelhammer Tree Experts. I worked with Fred for 10 years before starting Geesaman Tree Company with his blessing.
I currently live with my wife Krista and daughter Maisie in the Boulder area. I enjoy spending time outdoors fishing, hiking, golfing, surfing and skiing with friends and family.
